Where The Wind Blows Her

Where The Wind Blows Her

A Poem by Im His Daughter

A beautiful little seed,
planted and growing
so her roots
will become deep and long.
Not easily uprooted,
her backbone getting stronger,
she becomes tall
with beauty and grace.
She shows her colors to the world
makes life beautiful
swaying back and forth.
Until one day,
when she is ready to live
her true life.
She outgrows her small world,
dies to her old self,
and
B U R S T S,
becoming free,
to go
where the wind blows her.

Aww thanks Gee. I had my own 23 yr old pregnant daughter in mind while writing this. She is currently flying where the winds blows & it's not good. I pray she lands in the next 6 months, takes root & grows her roots long, deep & strong. All I can do is wait & pray.

Reads like the life story of my daughter, thus far, who is presently blossoming into a most beautiful young lady, both inside and out ( 17 years old)
Many parents will no doubt relate to this enjoyable, well written piece.
