Meeting You

A Poem by It's Only Me

I've only just met you,

But I can already tell

That you'll mean a lot to me

And I like you very well

Maybe it's your brown eyes,

Maybe it's your name

All I know is since I met you,

I haven't been the same

Your voice gives me chills

And you appear in my dreams

I just cannot get you

Out of my head it seems

I hope that we'll be something

So I'll patiently call on fate

I'll wish on every falling star

And pray I'm not too late.
