Whatever Life Brings

While stars were burning,

The world was turning

All because you were here

And as rain was falling,

I'd run out calling

And in a second you'd be here

But these days are different,

Not quite sufficient

And my smile is not as bright

While you're out there living,

I'm acting forgiving

And crying my eyes out at night

Just keep that in mind

When you finally find

That perfect girl of your dreams

And I'll be here trying

To forget your lying

And taking whatever life brings.
