Freedom Is Born

Freedom Is Born

A Poem by Inda

Freedom Is Born

A cloud’s tears

On the ground,

Memory of the sound

of a young boy’s fears.

Lightning in the distance

creates waves of resistance.

Voices shout beneath it all;

No one thought this too would fall.

Hundreds die, then hundreds more,

Bodies adorn

the floor

and freedom is born?

It's so unfortunate what goes on in the world...I have a soft spot for egypt as I have friends there. Freedom is never born under the knife.

It is unfortunate that violence comes so easily to us and peace is such a abstract concept to some.
