Grief

No one ever told me that grief felt so like fear. ~ C. S. Lewis

At the darkest moment

of grief a deep sigh

another small death

You portrayed it accurately. Grief is powerful.

Both the words and the picture capture the essence of grief. Every loss is a little death.

but unlike real death...
resurrection from dark moments does happen.

i really like the sigh being a small death...
it could be just the sigh, or it could be welcoming death itself...
this senryu has enormous dimension...
