Man's inhumanity to man, makes countless thousands mourn ~ Robert Burns

 

Sorrow like a winter wind

Rakes across my soul

The world has become

Something I don’t recognize

The news is filled with turmoil

Of wars and conflicts on all four corners

Sadly, no one is listening to the cries

Or paying attention to the devastation

These are people who wither in pain

Without shelter, food, water and medical care

There is no waxing or waning to this madness

How is it that people who claim

To believe in a god be so cruel and indifferent
