The Cost of Me

The Cost of Me

A Poem by Jacques - iNkwire
"

A piece exploring the cost I incur as an organism, as a being.

"
What's wrong with refunding the cost of me?
I don't produce and there's so much I use
So there's nothing to gain
Why pay that price when I'm not even that nice
and don't give that much to you?

There are nicer models out there
That come with all the bells
They take half the space
and give you half the Hell

I can't justify the cost of me
and I've maxed out on debits
So many are me times three
and are to society's credit

It's just not appealing
Damaged goods fetch small refunds
Ending the little dealings
would be the consolation

About
Hi. Most of my work is poetry, but I intend to put some stories out in the future. I write about what makes me feel strongly. This approach mostly results in romantic pieces, but I hope to branch o.. more..
