If I was prouder,
You'd know just how I feel
If I was louder,
Everyone would hear my spiel

You'd know how often
You are on my mind
There'd be no doubt
That I wish you were mine

If I was honest,
I'd use serious words
If you just asked me,
Your guess would be reassured

I'd use some dangerous terms
For what's in my heart
Maybe then you would learn
What it's like for me, when we're apart
