The Forgotten

The Forgotten

A Poem by Invisible_kid

On my knees
In this filthy muck of ground
I hear nothing
But in my mind your words still linger
Lets be friends
My wings have broken
Thus I’ve fallen
To this earth
Far from where I wish to be
My sockets cry mascara
All for what you’ve done to me
And all for what you will do for her
On my knees
In this filthy muck of ground
I hear nothing
But in my mind your words still linger
Lets be friends
I feel as if I’m truly nothing
Withering away
Empty
Dead
I’ve fallen down
Face in the dirt
Tears flee from my eyes
I look up to you, standing there above me
You say nothing
But in my mind your words still linger
Lets be friends
Lets be friends
Lets be friends
