foolishness

foolishness

A Poem by bob, small b. aka invs
"

if you liked On Madness, this is a little more personal, less extreme verse with a similar theme.

"

how foolish can an old man be?

for the answer, look at me.

even though, if truth be told

i'm relatively not that old.

i laugh or play while others rage.

i flirt with women half my age.

i dream of what i want to be

as if i'd just reached puberty.

and if i don't meet expectations

i feel immune to condemnation.

in very few things i excell,

but foolishness i do damn well.

About
my name's bob. small 'b'. a hold-over from my e.e. cummings stage of writing. i just never went back to reclaim the capital B. or the capital letters to begin paragraphs and sentences. no significance.. more..
