A Chapter by Irenic

“…..next week”

“…….night”, all the words and events took place yesterday juggling in his mind at pace and that’s why he was sleeping but facing difficulty and as the rays of the sun striked the glass of his bedroom’s window and came in to welcome him and cajole him, he pressed his tightly to close while strtching the body so high that his one hand the right hand moved away from the face and down and there alarm began to ring which his left hand that stretching down stopped. and he kept on lying for minutes. And his legs moved and back too to sit down after he yawned. He rubbed his eyes while sitting down and when he felt that he was finally awaken or when he sat down completely his right hand moved to take the glasses lying on the side table in his hands. He wore it. He stood from his place and after taking books he was going down when he heard the voice of his peon coming from the ground floor “Je aap yahan lounge mein baith jayein” (Yes you please sit here in lounge), he was talking to somebody else. He was listening their conversation while coming out from his room and down stairs

-“Jee aap kiya lein ge” (What would you like to take)

“Nahi Nahi kuch nahi shukriya” (No no nothing, thanks)

“Aaap ko koi kaam….” (Do you have any inquiry …..)

But then he was not interested in listening and judging along with finding out who the person is to which his peon was talking so he didn’t listen it anymore and walked downstairs and then walked towards right side to go in study when his feet stopped walking towards study and said “Aap papa k chotay bhai hain, right , Kashif Babaur, am I right?” (Are you younger brother of Papa, right, Kashif Babur, am I right?), actually he was trying to remember when he saw him that who he is because might be he forgot him or might be he was still a bit unconscious.

On seeing him walking downstairs and going towards study he stood up and when he was trying to remember him and his name he replied “Yes you are right, I am Kashif Babur, your father’s younger brother”.

“Aap kuch lein ge, Chai coffee, juice ya kuch aur” (Would you like to take tea or coffee or juice or something else)
-“jo apne liye la rahay ho wahi meray liye” (Whatever you are bringing for youself bring it for me too), he smiled and sat down on sofa.
“Jee” (Yes), his words left him with questions with the feling that he wanted to come closer to himwhich he was resisting because he didn’t want come closer to him.

He brought a tray having two cups of coffee in it and sat on the sofa placed beside the sofa where he was sitting at right angle while putting the tray on the centre table. After putting one cup cup on his side he took his cup and straightened his back .

-“Aap kyun nahi arahay, why are you not coming”, finally broke the ice after all hecame here to talk to him regarding it because he didn’t want anymore hearing. He wanted to solve the family matter within family not outside the family.

“I am not a public property”, his face reddened and he stood up with anger.

“aap waqai mein public property nahi ho, you are really not a public property, you are our family member like others and that’s why I want you to come at your house and don’t live here please”, he was trying to make him to know what he thinks about him and what he is for him. He further continued “Meray bhai ka beta kiya mera beta nahi hai, aren’t my brother’s son is my son? Uska beta mera beta hi tou hai, his son is really my son, and with that love and affection I said. Kal court bhi har halat mein tumhe ghar hi bhejay gee, tomorrow the court will send you at your mom’s house by hook or by crrok so don’t you think it is better that we solve this matter by ourselves instead of going courts afterall tum tou apne baap bohat zaheen betay ho, you are really a genius son of your father” he was trying hard to make him understand what he thinks about him and to make him to come with him. “Faraz, main tumse wada karta hoon, I promise you, k jab Farkhanda tumharay sath buri hogi tou main tumhari side loonga, whenever she will be rude to you that I will take you your side”, he further contined. He took his hand in his hands. He hold his hand between his two hands trying to gain his trust.

And he did not want to trust anyone else then. He with instance pulled his hand away from his hands and he left with shock that still he didn’t agree but then he said “Okay, but you have to give me an hour for packing”. He was pleased to hear this. And stood to come behind him to help him in packing so he said “Please aap baith jain, please take your seat, I will do it by myself”.

All bags were shifted in car. they both went out of the house and all the peons too. he turned to look at the gates and very stone heartedness he collided the two gates .

“Aap baithey main aata hoon” (You please be seated in car I am coming). He did as said so.

“Chalein yeh lein aap apni tankhua aur samne walay banglay se baat hogai hai aap sub wahan jayein ge kaam karne” (So please take, this your salary and I have already talked to the front one bungalow and you all have to go there for work). He handshake with all of them and they all were giving his their prays with whole heartedness.

And after saying goodbye he was walking out and they all walked out. He locked the gate and coming towards his car to sit but he shouted “Please meri car mein, please come to sit in my car”. he nodded and after sending all his peons at their new work respectfully he went in his car to sit and the car ran behind his house to go to his new house.
