how we nap

how we nap

A Poem by (no es) maria
"

persian cat is perfect

"
oh, i envy you
you can become a perfect ball of silk
a sphere of luminous fur
silver white and black

you sleeping, your throat makes the perfect sound
a steady hum, a perfect pulse
me, the roars from my sleeping throat
 can make walls shake

the most i can hope for
while i sleep
is to lie still
wake up without bedhead
and a fading pleasant dream
bringing a smile to my lips
