An Apology

An Apology

A Poem by coma black☯

I’m sorry I’m not your princess.
I’m sorry I don’t fit your standards.
I’m sorry I don’t want to fill your standards,
But I try my best.
All I can say is I’ve tried,
Too damn long at that if you haven’t noticed.
I’m sorry.

Heartfelt rendition. Simple and short. Strong and stern.
Good job!
