Dark horse

I am butterflies.
Giddy thoughts
fly away,
but I remain
What's left?

Tortue.
Ol tortuga.
Turtle, tortoise,
wins the race
by standing still.
Face the world
at a medium pace.

Green, peace,
yet in that jungle,
jim the tiger,
shadow beast,
stormageddon,
bouncy, trouncy,
fun fun fun.

But my love, well,
my love is a dark horse
chasing a sparrow
