Jagged

Jagged

A Poem by Jack D.

Jumbled up like a puzzle;

together on jagged pieces;

entwined, holding, but not

with an enthusiasm.

Glass against glass, creak and

shine, forever and glisten.

Take away my heart and shatter

it like a jagged piece.

Prod my mind and melt it

red hot.  Past, present, future,

through the years;

linked in time.

I like how you wrote this, not rhyming, choppy (in a good way)...I love the words you used, they paint a nice picture in my mind of what this poem is about. I love this whole thing :) Great poem!
