Come float with me on Velvet Sound

Come float with me on velvet sound

As music floats the evening air

With melodies now filled with hope

And timeless days that we both share

 

Along the ridge the setting sun

So full in life and amber glow

Does dance the heavens curtained light

Brought forth in this it day's end show

 

To walk this course and sing the songs

That lovers feel and hearts do shine

Lest harmonies we’ve come to know

In rhythms now are set to time

 

For dreams you see are cast in gold

With linings shimmering the dusk

Till twilight lends its somber soul

Of silhouettes in magic dust

 

Where shadows play a subtle game

To win but only hearts desire

And passions forms the poet's flame

In words that you alone desire

 

In circles, violet these skies

Enlightened as the moon beams pass

To see your face before my eyes

And feel you touch does come at last

 

So long I’ve waited to the side

With endless dreams about thy self

As now the time to share this life

To take me down from on the shelf

 

And hold me always skin to skin

With smiles formed of silent sighs

When music plays now once again

And we shall dance on painted skies

 

For it is always what I dream

In lasting sound of lyrics true

To lay before this twilight scene

And sing the song of love so true

This almost has its own music to it with the rhythym and flow falling perfectly into place.
