The Life of a Book

The life of a book

Is not in its binding

Or in the cover it shows

 

Not just how tattered

Or worn are its pages

How much the dust on it grows

 

It is not how big

Or thick you may find it

Where on the shelf it does hide

 

The life of a book

Begins when you read it

And when you share what is inside

I love books I have so many older novels...the libraries here have never been properly explored..they think their haunted-I have free rain and enjoy it!!!the best smell is the old book smell-someone let Yankee candle know*)

So beautiful...honestly. This is simple, straight forward and poignant. I love books, I have an affair with them, seriously. I have an enitre bookself with books all the way back from when I was in college, and I absolutely love each one of them. So true, and the flow was spectacular.
