Twilight's Shimmer - A collaboration - Frieda and Jack

Once more I am honored to write a poem with Frieda. Who says dreams don't come true?

 

 

Twilight's Shimmer

 

 

Misty mornings long for silent shade

drenched in glistening opalescent

windswept sighs on feathered breezes

seek the essence of your fragrance

 

languish in moments sheer contentment

flowers scenting the nape of the neck

eyes soak in brilliant twilight's shimmer

amidst the ginger of your aromatic flavor

 

 the sunrise blooms of your beauty

I gaze upon this tempting reflection

in limpid pools of dark sepia dreams

silently quenching my thirsty desires  

 

delights of silken'd utterances bliss

kiss upon my heart's zesty appetite

hungering for the gusto of your affection

urges of  persuasive velvet'd silent echoes

 

savoring these moonlit moments

within delicate arms, anxious sighs

 

enraptured in this tender night's embrace

floating upon gossamer clouds of your love

I like the male female back forth... creates an interesting tug, you know... its odd, because its two people where there usually is just one... I think it takes a certain amount of trust, in self, in other, to write this style of poetry... a great collaboration.

Hi Jack, i'll start of by saying I reviewed a collaboration recently with Frieda P and yourself and I loved it.
~~Fluttery Felicitous Bliss is such an amazing piece and you are an excellent poet.
I notice how you and Frieda P have this amazing ability to transcend this sense of character and paint a scene so romantic that If I ever end up tying the knot I'd want to take my significant other to a place as beautiful as your poems describe.
You and Frieda have created such a realistic fantasy that I think I rather live in your poems than the cruel world outside. Thank you so much for writing for you don't just create art for yourselves you create and escape for a lost reader like myself. Behind Closed Eyes I see your heart.

BCE, I don't know what to say. This is absolutely the finest review I have ever received on something I had something to do with. I am completely humbled by your words this day. When we come together to write, we never really know how our words will come out and how they might effect people who read them. To know that our efforts have produced this feeling in you make every word of this poem totally worthwhile. The Jack/Frieda team make magic once again :) There is a sensual briskness about this piece...reading it, I felt a temptation to read it fast, but whenever I felt like that was happening, I'd be hit by another line that just stopped me in my tracks and compelled me to savour it and take in the beauty therein...gossamer clouds of your love is a perfect ending, kinda put me in mind of Sunshine Of Your Love (I've been waiting so long to be where I'm going...) What more can I say, lovely work as always you two :)
