Until We Meet Again

It's a song. It says it's a poem. But it's a song. The type lies.

Like all best friends, we had our fights

We shared some funny memories

Summer days with endless nights

Gave way to crazy stories

Then one day came, and summer ended

And we left our common ground

My heart was left there to be mended

It'd wait until next time around

But you promised you'd always be there

That you'd always have time for me

And that although we'll be apart for now

When I close my eyes, it's you I'll see

So I'm not gonna say goodbye

New teachers, classes, friends to make

New school for me to readjust

But the world around me seemed to fake

And there was no one that I could trust
