Regrets and memories awake

To my bed my body will take

The guilt wraps me up in it’s arms

The Dark chills me warm with it’s charms

And throws me into Nighttime Lake.

I must get up, run from the quake

Before my mind has time to break

I step outside; the sky alarms

Stars are healers.

Face up, my mind smashes the brake

The glitter patterns- in they snake

Float down my lungs, putting down arms

They push away the Darkness harms
