She's just a girl.

She's just a girl

A girl who lives

A girl who loves

A girl,

Who needs arms to hold her up

When she is weak

Who needs comfort

When she feels broken

Who feels for someone

As they do her

She's just a girl,

A girl who is strong

A girl who is weak

A girl,

Who stands on her own two feet

When things get hard

Who could brighten your day

When she couldn't brighten her own

A smile will spread across her face

Just to cheer you up

She's just a girl,

A girl who is strong

A girl who is weak

A girl,

And that girl,

Is me.

I love the way you wrote this and the way you worded everything. I understand this poem so well and it gets to me because this IS me. I always smile whenever I am down and try to make others laugh when all I want to do is scream and cry.
