Thunder

Thunder

A Poem by MissDragon
"

A poem I started on a rainy day.

"
I sit here in silence.
Watching the rain fall,
Oh so carelessly from the sky
Thinking of what is to come.

I close my eyes,
listening to the raindrops hit the rooftop.
Hearing the mighty thunder,
rolling loudly in the background.

Thinking of what once was,
and shall never be again.
the memories come as nightmares,
but the thunder is just a bit too strong.

I can relate with your poem.
I shudder in fear just before the thunder when a spark of light fly across the sky.
