Goodbye

My friend....

This letter is written with sorrow and tears,

you have have been gone a long time

little over 10 years.

You and me left our bad deeds,

your words imprinted in my brain,

have faith and take a leap.

I miss you my friend....

To this day the scar is still deep,

you were the first one I open up to.

I trusted you, the only one who knew the pain a was going through,

for your family I stood strong, devastated inside, yet I kept my mask on..

The years after I try'd to drink myself to death,the pain was to great....

I put my blame on god, he took a great man from us, like he didn't care enough....

Your mother helped me find some peace,the time has come my friend....

I have to speak the words that I keep deep.....

Everytime I try, tear well up and I want to cry.....

Still have to say it.......

Goodbye means a lot of things but it also means acceptance and moving on. It does not mean forgetting but it just meant that they've managed to imprint themselves within our hearts to last forever. A touching poem, jamal. Good job. ^_^
