Devotee

Devotee

A Poem by Jacquelene Vanessa Moreno

I see my breath before me
Tell me what to do so I won’t be so lonely
Please don’t ignore me
I shine for u only

Why can’t you see the inside of me
You’re heart beat once only for she
I clench my fists in the shattered rain
Why god? Why? Am I allowed to feel such pain.

Please don’t go and leave me free
I want your chains tight around me
See into my soul and don’t let go
I’m sorry I’ve never heard the word
No!

A very good poem. Some people dislike the word, no. I liked the drive and the need in the words. Thank you Jacquelene for sharing the amazing poetry.

"Firsts" or fists?

Life isn't instant... we just sooooooooooo wish it was. Nor is it fair, or anything ever free. We risk our SELF to reach for stars we aren't always that sure we want - til we have them (stars) and no longer want OR we don't get them or keep them a decide we really did want. AND soooo many try to change what they have until they haven't got it anymore...

People had learned to live on their own and be comfortable with themselves before trying to live another. But "instant" presupposes both know, understand, and accept the risks. Sharing some time and coffee across a table is a fair beginning.
