2:32

2:32

A Poem by Jess Rose

2:32 am
When she was a child she was warned about the Jabberwock
She fought it all her life
But at 2:32 am, she would fight one last time
And lose
She took her vorpal sword in hand
The blade went snicker-snack but much much slower than that
At last the Jabberwock was slain
And she, the girl, in no more pain
And now, who here would win or lose?
The girl or Jabberwock? You choose.
The vorpal blade had left her dead
For the Jabberwock was in her head
