The Cat

The Cat

A Poem by Joshua J. Certain

We reflecct the macroscopic world

A reflection twirled In black and white swirls

Standing on superpostion

Keep the molecules contained

Leave the cat Restrained

This shall not break

or else the cat's life

The hammer will take

With no visible view

What are these eyes to do

No neurological breakthrough

So stand in the outside

Not knowing of whats in the inside

So the cat resides

In a state of dead and alive

Any interference

Will disrupt these expieriments

Searching for subatomic experience

So lets open the box

See where our hypothesis is at

Oh Mr. Schrodinger

Why did you introduce us to that cat

How often people feel this way about cats??? LOL I am a cat person, while my husband thinks they are creatures sent from Satan! Anyway this was a fun, humorous read...and I am glad that you sent this to me!!

About
In a dark place I awoke. I believe it was around the age of twelve. I picked up a pen and wrote a poem tilted "Broken light". That was years ago and that poem is long gone. I started a whole mess of.. more..
