Is it not

Is it not the brilliant breathe of passion present in the air
to make one believe in life again?

Is it not the legacy of laughter that two people share
to make one want to understand again? 

Is it not the faintest hint of cologne soaked skin tasted upon my lips
that makes me know that love will live?

Is it not the warm hint of sun shine stealing its moment through the clouds
to make one want to feel?

Is it not the valiant glimpse of victory as one passes the finish line
to make one believe in their dreams?

I long to believe in life, in laughter, in understanding
I need to know that love will live, it will shine, it will breathe 
I want to feel the sun upon my skin
       the smell of your cologne as it tickles my nose and
I will forever believe in my dreams.
