Windows to My Soul

Windows to My Soul

A Poem by Jeancloud7
"

I was staring at my curtains blowing when this poem came to me

"
The sheer curtains
blow mysteriously
in and out of
the open window
Outside, there
are miles and miles
of bare land
stretched out
with a passageway
down the middle

Fir pines draw a
sketchy outline in
the distance
I look out realizing
I am far away from
any source of
human life
wondering where
that passageway
went -
I know
a radiant, lustrous
patch of land
with wizardry
and sorcery
in every corner
I was in
Mysticville
where all magic
is allowed

Outside
the window started
changing scenery
I saw bits of my
childhood
happy and carefree
fragments of my
experiences all
coming together
to form a wondrous
essence inside of
me
Should I take
the walk?
I think I'm there
already
the pieces are
complete for now -
I'm not choking
on my love
but giving it
and with that
always comes
receiving it

Balance and peace
from a window view
