Two Feet Planted in Different Worlds

Two Feet Planted in Different Worlds

A Poem by Nyanachi

sinking through a dream,
slithering in between.
I've got this thing that's resounding in my throat now.
its enclosed in between.

once it leaves it will never come back.
once it has gone I hope it sounds gentle, strong and everything i was for the moment.
if I think too much first the feeling has already floated past.
if I think too little maybe what comes out is not to your liking.
I've got too many steps to take, but many emotions to make.
Many lives are chanting to rush to the finish line.
But all I see is death over there,
I could only live a life rather than a steady straight line walk.
There is too many colors too see.
My childhood is flickering before me like a flame in the wind.
Shes so little but so effectively righteous.
I'll just be a girl living now,
trying her best to embrace the unknown,
using whats known as my tools.
A girl trying her best with feet in both worlds.
One is a bed of flowers,
One is an empty bed I must grow myself.
I will clutch my little girl in my arms
and stare at the grown women standing strongly just up the road.

Good music and amazing poetry.
"One is a bed of flowers,
One is an empty bed I must grow myself."
Hard when we are running into two directions. Losing something and gaining another leave us heading to a unknown new place. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are right. It seem when we go forward. Some things that cannot come with us and you are welcome.
This one is quite amazing, Jackie. If it is as I perceive then I believe you are certainly well on your way, and you are a very strong person.
