I miss you child

I miss you child

A Poem by Nyanachi
"

This is a poem from my current self to my past childhood self.

"
Those days you watched the clock for your mother,
Turned red for admiration of a single second's look.
Cried alone and drew of your lack of love.

Turned your back in depressive silence.
Those beautiful girls in my stories had died and suffered so I did not.

When the darkened touch was but a dream
You were safe of all the shame.

Slowly you closed your eyes, opening your arms,
Welcoming what had turned you into me.

If I could have you back I would have a chance.

But now its all withered out from the states of dreams.

A normal human of this time is completely blinded
By the need for the ugly shadow on the opposite site of the face.

You are a amazing writer.
"When the darkened touch was but a dream
You were safe of all the shame."
The above line make me wish to know more. You gave enough with the statements to open doors to thoughts and things to ponder. What is real and not? Can become hard to know.Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
