'Want to, but Can't do"

'Want to, but Can't do"

A Poem by Jennifer
"

There's no point running, hiding, we need to be able to face our own problems, and fears to grow up and become a better person

"
"Want to, but Can't do"

It happens that sometimes I wanna run to not face the reality
It happens in your mind when you try to escape from those thoughts
It seems so easy but at the same time so hard
While in the reality you can't

You can't even open the door
Because at the other side is gonna be the same
Same people, same places, same views

There's no point in running, neither hiding
If your feet can't get you anywhere
Not knowing directions as to where to go

It's such an agony and a displeasure
Wanting to escape and having nowhere to go
Because there's not a place such as "hide from the reality"
But there's one called "life" where everyone is exposed

It's all a matter of time
'Till you get wise enough
To know that you must face the reality
Because that's the way that life goes

Sorry if the title is not the best ._ most of the time I write and the last I do is put a title, except sometimes when the title comes by himself xD

Hehe...the same formula I use in titling poems😀!!
When depression, tensions, fears keeps coming in life with no breaks...thinking of being in pleasure then becomes a thought of travelling in the moon!...but not impossible right?!....You've brought good concept...thanks for sharing☺!

It takes huge courage to face up to our fears, but it can be done. And when you are able to do so, you will feel a huge sense of achievement. Little steps. A step at a time. All those tiny steps add up. Many will be able to relate to your lines Jennifer.

I liked how you express fear. To me, this speaks of facing a fear in a depressive state of an anxiety. I say that because I lived that fear once and yes it is how you express but sometimes one has to face the fears and test their self. No it isn't easy but to win battles you have to go before otherwise it becomes a war.
