Earning my way to Heaven

just my poem let me know if you like the original or second version better

       first version 

                             I see comfort, 

                           Peace, 

                           I see joyfulness, 

                           The eye of God, 

                            As i walk the path of righouseness, 

                             I'm earning my way to heaven

   second version 

   earning my way to heaven 

   as i lay my head to rest, 

i pray to God and thank him for another day, 

i have been set free, 

i see comfort, 

peace, 

joyfulness, 

the touch of Gods hand, 

he's watching over me, 

i see the eye of God, 

as i walk the path of righteousness, 

i'm earning my way to heaven
