Fishing dock

Fishing dock

A Poem by jennifer little

      Sitting on a fishing dock,
Waiting for the bobber to go down,
 Staring into the clouds,
Enjoying the freedom,
As you relax,
You see the beauty God has created,
The way the water moves,
The wind that blows,
The earth is so beautiful,
The fishes that steal your bait,
THey laught at you and swim away,
Some you can catch,
Some you cannot,
SOme fish even wink at you while you fish,
It is so amazing all the beauty's of this earth that God has created

Gee
Although not a religious man I do marvel at this wonderful world that we are lucky enough to briefly inhabit
.
I read your "about me" and am sorry that you have suffered abuse, on the upside I was raised, one of seven, by my mum and I can tell you that your child will love you twice as much :))
The more you read and post on here the better your grammar, writing will become, I(hopefully) am testament to that:)
Nice to meet you :))

There’s nothing more relaxing than sitting at the waters edge with the breeze touching your face and that’s how I felt upon reading your poem ‘fishing dock’. Descriptive and calming.

You took me there and I enjoyed the moment. Lovely descriptive poem and one of gratitude too. Thank you.

There was once this old, grumpy b*****d of a fish in a lake out Hope way. The locals called him Ol' Mossback. They said Ol' Mossback shimmered in the sun with the light glinting off of hundreds of lures stuck in his back, but no matter how many times he was hooked he always got away. Some said they heard him speaking, taunting them.
