imprisoned

imprisoned

A Poem by jennifer little

as slender beams of moonlight enter this darkened prison,
as i kneel here praying,
always sorrowful,

my body lies awake in pain and suffering,
standing here frozen,
as i await the tortured forms,
wrought in panes of glass loom as the dust dances,
their forming an image in my mind,
as they are penetrating my darkened soul,

pain of a deathless face,
i shall raise my head now embracing my uncaring fate to come within

amazing write here but these lines stood out with solid imagery for me
`
`
standing here frozen,
as i await the tortured forms,
wrought in panes of glass loom as the dust dances,
their forming an image in my mind,
as they are penetrating my darkened soul,

I love writes that are kind of dark and full of emotion, this is really good
