Taking Your Life

Taking Your Life

A Poem by jessicam
"

This poem is about the way i used to feel all the time... i never had the courage to go through with it though.i would lay on the floor bleeding and crying.

"

All alone in your room,

Shaking, enclosed in a tomb.

Blood running from your wrist,

The razor blade clinched in your fist.

Light headed and dazed,

You crash to the floor.

On your knees,

You crawl to the door.

Too weak to make it.

You shut your eyes,

And drop the razor.

Tears form as you begin to cry.

Pain and sorrow

Fill your heart.

Hatred and disgust

Fill your head.

You can't live with yourself,

You decide to end it all.

Open your pocket knife,

Say goodbye before you take your life.
