tears will form again.

tears will form again.

A Poem by Lady Lazarus.

don't want to rise from the ashes
a phoenix that flies into dust
tears can't form on eyelashes
living a life with no lust

water carries baby to earth
a process we hope to avoid
the end outnumbered by birth
time that we used to enjoy

what do you convey to all of them?
simple change of perception
wallflower bent at the stem
pain of  the climax ,the conception

This small child is all that I am
a ribbon that will carry on
stun and silence this lamb
from  blood I rise like the dawn...

I love the emotion that the image of a 'wallflower bent at the stem' creates.
It's as fragile as someone who needs to cry but whom 'tears can't form on eyelashes'.
Beautifully expressed emotion.
