Or even why I came

I don't know how I can sit here

Enduring all the pain

This was where it all started

Where it all began

 

The very second you looked at me

The very second I looked at you

The very place I told you my secrets

The very place you shared your regrets

The very day I kissed you

The very day you kissed me back

 

The first time I chose you

The first time you chose me

The first moment I realized I was in love with you

The first moment you decided you were in love with her

 

The first week  I confronted you

The first week you hated me

The first month

My life fell apart

The second month

The third month

The fourth 

The fifth

Going on sixth

 

Thanks for ruining my life.

Oh, bby. I actually, honestly enjoyed this poem. The parallel syntax really emphasizes your message, as do the contrasting clauses. I know you're still hurting, but it's the sucky fact that only time can heal s****y happenings like this one. Eventually you'll move on and eventually you'll find someone else.

In the meantime, your emotions--as unpleasant as they may be--are giving you fabulous writing material.
