Vampiric Butterfly

Vampiric Butterfly

A Poem by jex

Killing the innocent memories,
Drained of all energy,
Like a vampire I lie waiting,
For the one who will sate my thirst

Almost all of my energy gone,
I wait for the sweet surprise,
Of the devilish angel

Ticking,
Ticking,
And ticking on,
You are my ticking time bomb

Here I lay waiting,
As the sky grows dark,
Trapped in this self-made coccoon,
Waiting for my transformation

Will you come to save me,
Or will you be my death?

Only time will tell.

I LOVE THIS! IT'S CREATIVE, IMAGINATIVE, IT'S A LITTLE SCARY, AND REALLY MYSTERIOUS. GREAT JOB.
