Oblivion's Kiss

Oblivion's Kiss

A Poem by JB Murray
"

Written for a Tovli ten contest...

"

OBLIVION’S KISS

Her perfume skin

Such a splendid wisp

Of sweet decay

Her presence hewn

Of Oblivion’s kiss

Does not repent

Those purer hands

On hearts of glass

All sky-ward bound

A lover’s sigh, serene

Two liars shared

On this, merciful ground

Such forbidden love. That's my take anyway. Secretive. While I was reading this all I could think about was two people that shouldn't be together. I love this piece.
