Release me, as I am free

I am a bird who soars high in the open

I am at peak when these cages of thoughts pull me down

Release me, I am not your’s to keep

I am a loner, born to roam free of rules and ropes

I seek new horizons and gather knowledge within the span of my wings

Release me, and let me breathe

I need to breathe, your world and people suffocate me

I have much to do and you keep to amuse you

Release me, and let me hunt

I am a hunter in search of challenges

I need to do my best and you bind me in chores

Release me, for I was a survivor

I survived the difficult of times

I survived all yet you aim to break me

Release me, for my strength is wearing

I used to radiate strength and courage

I was once the glory of all

Release me, or my sanity already shredded will blow away with the wind
