For Him

For Him

A Poem by Jillian Alexis
"

An Ode to someone special. xoxo.

"

From the moment I saw you, I began to sore!

With wings, the color of sapphire kissed with drops of topaz

I flew amongst the tops of trees a fiery red and orange,

I grazed the tallest buildings in the tallest of cities,

Gave an ode to the highest of mountains painted with an alabaster glow

I even saw my reflection in the indigo sea!

From the moment I kissed you a world so stuck by laws of gravity,

literally tilted, letting go of me,

Giving way to beautiful layers of unknown certainty

Oh the stars and moon gave me such romantic light

as I sailed away into your infinite night!

Breath intertwined and lost words whispered, entering your universe,

two souls beginning to remember...

From the moment I loved you,

Two became one

What a feeling to set my heart upon the burning sun!

Engulfed in your presence, I relish as I am consumed,

The silence echoes in this all too familiar room

Within the heat of our passion, a whole new world came into view,

Oh what a blessing for the heavens to bring me back to you!
