Thoughts Of You A quiet night resting alone in my bed, Still quite awake, Watching the clock instead.... Thoughts of you silently cross my mind, Angel-like, robes flowing......so very refined, A kaleidoscope of rainbows, In back of you glow, Like a prism of colors, But I still want to know, The room looks so dark, no light shining through, But my mind sees such beauty, in the person of you.... Rain clouds disappear, the sunshine comes in, When I think of the inspiration you've been.... Pulling me up from the depths of my sorrow, Giving me hope for a better tomorrow, A connection inside me is felt for you now, Like I've known you forever, it seems somehow.... You have this ability to see into my thoughts, When I raised any questions, T'was an answer you sought.... Maybe you gave me another chance to see, What my life could be like if I chose it to be, You reached out your hand, to guide me along, I need only to take it, to be where I belong....
