Curiouser and curiouser

Curiouser and curiouser

A Poem by jinjahman

Why we continue to fail but succeed in never stopping to try. 'She knows there’s no success like failure And that failure’s no success at all' From 'Love Minus Zero/No Limit', Bob Dylan.

Complexity requires dexterity
carefulness requires simplicity

Can we examine?

Difficulty belies the conqueror
efficacy needs a push from somewhere

Can we determine?

Bad turns of event sow seeds of Hate
prayerfulness requires Faith

Can we reflect?

Things turn.
We All yearn
To stop or break the wheel
Yet fatalistic again it turns
When once more spurned
We're cut a bad deal

Defeat requires victory's allure
"There's no success like failure"

But when repeated it gets curiouser
and curiouser and curiouser.

. wow ... transcendental meditation with bob dylan ... i sometimes think ... the mirth of failure is the dearth of love ... and the mirth of success ... is the dearth of failure ... but that's just me ... great write ... awe-inspiring ...

I never fail to read one of your poems without pausing for some serious thought afterwards. "Things turn. We all yearn..." Grand lines.
