A Poem by james l navas

Peering through false lens
a distorted world
fake smiles
yet we all are pulled
to mask,
hide all blemish.
To show only perfection
display for all to see
display for eternity.
Why do all hide
showing only lies
a tainted view.

James - We are often conditioned to use a false lens, fake a smile and don masks which provide a defense against others seeing our true beliefs. Live a lifetime and it becomes a habit you fear to break. Human beings! You gotta luv 'em! Most enjoyed your words James. Namyh
