To Josephine de Beauharnais with love

To Josephine de Beauharnais with love

A Poem by Joseph C Ogbonna
"

A poem that is based on the historic love affair between emperor Napoleon Bonaparte 1769-1821 and his wife and mistress, empress Josephine de Beauharnais 1763-1814.

"
My heart cannot
anymore my emotions
accommodate.
Permit me to be pragmatic
in affections which
in its very bottom I
have buried:
Let me hold you in
my cozy hands and
kiss you. Let me your
succulent apples feel,
as I explore the smooth,
soft and sweet fragrant
landscape of your body.
The sensual touch of your
lower curves would
undoubtedly to the
highest heavens convey me.
Let me hold you tight
so that no one else
may grab you.
Let me in your love's
citadel seek eternal
refuge from the vast
armies of Europe.

So you have written of the Empress. I was so pleased to find this piece when I looked in your library. I love the old fashioned respectful passion conveyed in these lines along with your sensual description. Good job done Joseph.
