The cookie girl

The cookie girl

A Poem by Joe Morris
"

An incredibly attractive looking girl served me whilst i was buying cookies and to my regret i bottled it and never got her name or number :(

"

It started with an order of a box of cookies,

Milk chocolate, dark and white.

I handed over a £10 note,

And saw the cookie girl's eyes glistening in the sunlight.

Our smiles mirrored one anothers,

She looked away and giggled; now mute.

Some would've thought it rude,

Yet I saw it as cute.

Our eyes did meet again but for a minute,

Yet that was long enough to make me see;

You were a girl i could have lived for,

Yet it was not meant to be.

This is so sweet :) and I'm sure it would melt her heart if she only knew you were affected by her enough to write a poem in her honour. i have one criticism...you don’t get to say "yet it was not meant to be" as an excuse...you choked and that’s on you...go back to that shop and talk to the girl :)

She must have been something!
No Problem :)
I would go back and buy more cookies... soon. Perhaps take a rose in and ask if she had any that particular colour. And then tell her it's hers. Good luck... and watch you don't get too fat doing this!
