The wolf moon

The wolf moon

A Poem by Hatchling

When the moon is out,
You can hear the wolves howl their
song.
Their song is beautiful with out words.
Yet no one hears their song.
They just keep howling, until they are heard.
With the moon shinning on them
while they walk, alone wondering if they will be
heard
When the moon is out keep an ear out
For their howls

I love this. I am a big wolf fan. Have a few of these myself. Maybe I will send you some out of my back pages. I have posted 40 plus pages since November, so easier than making you sift through ...

A beautiful masterpiece. :) I know how much you love wolves.

I think the concept of this one is quite nice. I like the idea of the moon and its relationship to the howling of wolves. You start of quite strong with the first stanza; it speaks clearly and deeply giving a good sense of your direction. I think there is a little lost in the middle two stanzas, as they oppose one another a bit...the wolves howl, but no one hears, but they howl until they are heard, which means that someone hears them. I'd just rethink the middle section a bit, perhaps a little tweaking in there would clear things up. Otherwise...great imagery and an entertaining write. Look forward to reading more from you.
