A short essay i wrote on non-verbal communication.

"

Non-verbal language is a form of communication where words are not necessary. When participating in nonverbal communication, your body language is the important factor. If you can communicate nonverbal, you can make the other person understand you, even if you are just making signs to him with your body. Non-verbal language is natural for humans, and we all just know it, because we are raised with it. All of our surrounding humans use a lot of nonverbal communication.

An example of nonverbal communication is when someone really pisses you off. If you meet a really annoying person that does not stop annoying you, you might stick your middle finger up at him if you’re bad at controlling your anger. That of course would signal for him to f**k off. However, that is rude. Nonverbal communication can be as easy as just nodding or shaking you head at someone when they try to ask you about something. It is included in humans behaviour at all times, and we just use it naturally. Using nonverbal communication is often a big part in expressing your culture.
