Common Ground

Common Ground

A Poem by Ashes of Apathy
"

Here lyes words of listening, understanding and relating

"

You feel the weight of the world on your shoulders.

I know.

You see the lines upon your face.

There starting to show.

Whats done is done.

Embers beneath a burning sun.

Whats done is done.

An Eternity.

I have waited.

So long it has been.

Finally, to rest my head,

on common ground.

I still remember the last thing,

you said,

"finally I found a place

where I can rest my head."

Whats done is done.

Embers beneath a burning sun.

Whats done is done.

An Epiphany.

I'v created.

With bittersweet it ends.

Finally, to rest my head,

on common ground.

I kinda got the personal vibe just by reading it. I dunno, I guess it's the way you used your words and when you used them..and how I suppose. This was a good read, your personal stuff is very enjoyable.

Keep up the good writing

Beautiful work. It flows gracefully... It feels like a song, actually. Really lovely piece.
