Chapter 67

A Chapter by Jemma Packman

Indigo and Sabrina in the kitchen. Summer and Meredith enter. Indigo says "Princess! Is everything ok? I didn't hear you shout."
Sabrina says "Where's Fico?"
Summer says "He left a while ago. Meredith was just catching me up on a few things."
"Shame. He's nice."
Indigo says "Summer's nicer."
Summer says "Are you two drunk?"
Sabrina and Indigo look at each other, point at each other and, in unison, say "She is."
Sabrina and Indigo laugh. Meredith says "Is this what a relaxed Indigo looks like?"
Summer says "I guess so."
Indigo jumps up, staggers to Summer, puts her arms around Summer's neck and says "Are you mad at me, Princess?"
"No. After what I've put you through today, you need it. I'm just surprised you're doing it with my mom."
Sabrina says "Suck it up, Princess. Either let it go or join us."
Indigo says "Meredith, you should join us. As a thank you."
Meredith says "Maybe another time. See you Monday, Indigo. I'll see myself out."
Meredith leaves. "You ok, Princess?"
Sabrina says "What's with the princess? And why doesn't Indigo have a pet name?"
"Because she's my princess." Indigo kisses Summer. "Why don't I have a name?"
Summer says "What would you like?"
"You have to pick it. I picked yours."
Priscilla walks in and says "I picked it actually. And what's this? Partying without me?"
Sabrina says "Join us."
Summer says "They're taking it from the bottle."
Priscilla says "Hardcore. I'm in."
Priscilla sits down and Sabrina passes her the bottle. "Where's Ethan?"
Gaz says "Right here."
Gaz has Ethan asleep in his arms. "How was he?"
"He's amazing. he had two hot dogs, one large soda and stuck to all your rules."
Priscilla says "You didn't."
"They were his rules, not mine. Besides, neither did you."
"She hit on me. You're just jealous."
"She only hit on you because of this guy."
Summer says "Did you use my son to pick up chicks?"
Priscilla says "Not intentionally."
Indigo says "She doesn't need help picking up anybody."
"Indigo , are you finally admitting I'm hot?"
Indigo giggles. "Not as hot as Summer."
Sabrina says "Busted."
Priscilla goes to the cupboard, grabs another bottle, clinks the bottle with Sabrina, opens it and starts drinking. Summer says "Mom, we need to get Ethan home."
Indigo says "Stay here with me."
"I need to get Ethan to bed."
"You can all stay here."
Ethan says "Mommy, are we having a sleepover?"
"Yes, buddy, we are. Is that ok with you?"
Ethan nods. "Yes, Momma."
Gaz says "Hey, big man, should we go watch guy movies and let teh ladies drink that firewater?"
Ethan nods. Gaz nods and carries Ethan out of the kitchen. Sabrina hits Priscilla's arm and says "He's really good with my grandson and he's very attractive."
Priscilla says "And good in bed."
Indigo says "I didn't need to hear that."
Sabrina says "If I was twenty years younger."
Summer says "I didn't need to hear that. Pass me that bottle."
Priscilla passes Summer the bottle. Summer drinks nearly half the bottle in one go. Priscilla says "Marry me."
Indigo says "Back off. She's mine. If Summer's marrying anyone. It'll be me."
Summer hugs Indigo and says "That a proposal?"
Sabrina says "Got my blessing."
Priscilla says "Let's celebrate."
Indigo says "But she didn't say yes."
Summer kisses Indigo and says "Doesn't count when your drunk."
"Still love you when I'm drunk."
"Still love you when your drunk."
"Yay! I'll drink to that."
